just wondering!

low carb, healthy, homemade, baked, nutritious jicama fries!!! a heaping cup of raw jicama equals out to a whopping 49 calories.  it's such a light, crunchy, filling, fibrous snack! Kosi (19 months) loves them raw. SCORE.

homemade fries are totally not intimidating at all, friends.  now, cutting sweet potatoes is not for the weak, but so worth the delicious, healthy end result! {#protip: microwave them whole in 30 second increments (2-3 min total) to make them light years easier to slice}.  baking will always be the healthier, better-for-you option vs deep frying, and jicama is prolly something you haven't  considering baking up before! (or have you? let me know below!) i've had raw jicama several times as a salad topping at restaurants but this is my first time actually cooking it.  obviously i loved it so much i had to share it with you:)

the dipping sauce is Heinz reduced-sugar ketchup; the only kind i buy.
