Turkey BBQ Bacon Meatloaf🥓

don’t know what to make for dinner (any night this week)?! see below🙂

this turkey meatloaf recipe was on my old blog(s) and needed an update, pictures included.

you can use your favorite bbq sauce in and on top of the dish, but if your fave sauce is a sweeter variety (i.e. honey), you won’t need to add the brown sugar.

How to cook BBQ Bacon Turkey Meatloaf

  1. preheat oven to 350
  2. in a small skillet set to medium-low heat, add olive oil
  3. add garlic & onion and sauté until translucent and fragrant, about 4-5 minutes then remove from heat
  4. to a large mixing bowl, add turkey, egg, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, bell pepper, worcestershire sauce, bbq sauce, parsley, sea salt, pepper, and 2 slices of diced bacon.
  5. mix very well! (by hand is recommended)
  6. place mixture in a loaf pan (or you can use a baking sheet and shape mixture into a loaf)
  7. spoon your sauce on top and sprinkle remaining 2 diced slices of bacon on top
  8. bake uncovered for 55 minutes
  9. Let meat rest for about 10 minutes before slicing
  10. garnish  with fresh parsley or green onion and enjoy!
